Philippe started his career in New York working on the first electronic mail messaging system at Computer Sciences Corporation in1987.
In 1988, aged 24, he founded Institutionnel Design the fashion and entertainment industries.
In 1997, he co-founded ID online, one of the first interactive agencies in France, with clients in the emerging internet service providers sector and start-up businesses which joined Publicis Group en 2000 and merged with Publicis Networks, creating Publicis Net, the Group's first interactive agency.
P. Simonet has advised international clients such as Cartier, Orange, Renault, Nestle, L'Oreal, Dior and Yves Saint Laurent on their global online strategies.
In 2009, Publicis Net was voted creative digital agency of the year in France and Philippe was ranked Best Creative Director (according to CB News magazine). The same year, he won a gold lion in Cannes, a gold Eurobest, 5 prizes at the Cristal Festival and many other local awards.
On the lookout for a new creative challenge, he joined the award-winning advertising agency TBWA\PARIS as Vice President in January 2010, his mission being to integrate and develop the agencyᾼs digital culture from the inside. He has been rewarded at many occasions prestigious French and international advertising awards, counting as many as 4 Cannes Lions in 2010 including 3 in Cyber categories.
He is now CEO of DAN Paris. He is a great art lover - dabbling in painting in his spare time - a dedicated foodie and is partial to a bit of risk-taking.
